Bienvenido! I'm Lalo Ayala, a Chicago-based, Production Designer, Art Director, and Prop Maker. I have a passion for collaborating with a diverse community of talented folks on projects that range from long-form independent films to big brand commercials.
I respect the power of the visual medium and its ability connect people across time and space, so I am always looking for projects that tell powerful stories. As a queer, Latinx individual, I can attest to the transformative power of narrative filmmaking.
I also appreciate productions that have need of creative solutions to help tell their story. I enjoy working closely with Directors and Cinematographers in creating original visuals and leading a team of talented artists in pursuit of that goal.
